Where do you look? +
The parole board’s own published results where the state posts them (California’s monthly hearing results we read directly), plus the news and public pages. Where a state sends notices by email, we can sign up for them for you and email you what each one says.
Can you tell me when they are released? +
Tell us that’s what you want. Where the state sends custody and release notices by email, we sign up for them for you and email you what each one says. Before you pay, the brief says exactly how we’ll watch your case.
How fast will I hear? +
We check every day. Boards often post results days or weeks after a hearing, and we email you as soon as we see them. This isn’t an emergency line: if you are in danger, call 911.
Which states publish decisions? +
It varies. California posts monthly hearing results, and we read them directly: each new month’s table, matched to the person by name or CDCR number. Virginia and Nevada post monthly decision lists, and some states release decisions only to registered victims or on request; there we search the news and public pages. Before you pay, the brief shows what we can see for your state.
What do I need to give you? +
The person’s full name and the state. A department or inmate number helps us tell them apart from someone with the same name.
What if nothing is published? +
Then no email comes. The watch ends on its date and nothing renews.
