Which bids can you see? +
Bids posted on public pages: city, county and school district sites, public bid listings and news a web search finds. You can also name up to three pages, such as your city’s bids page. We can’t see inside portals that need a vendor login, and some portals block automated checks. Before you pay, we run the check and show what we can see today.
How soon will I hear? +
Not in real time. A bids page you name is checked about once a day, and so is a web search for a bid. A search can take days to find a new posting and bid windows can be short, so if you know the agency’s bids page, give it to us.
Do you send the documents or register me? +
No. You get the posting’s link and the quoted text. Register with the agency to download the documents, get addenda and submit.
I bid on lots of work. Is this for me? +
Yes. Set up a watch for each agency or kind of work you bid on. At $2.99 each, ten watches still cost less than one month of most bid services, and you only hear about bids that fit.
What counts as a match? +
The brief you approve says so. Usually it is a new RFP, RFQ or invitation to bid from that buyer for that work. An award, an intent to award or a bid that was already posted doesn’t count. Waiting on an addendum or the award for a bid you already have? That is an addendum and award watch.
Federal contracts? +
Yes. Name the agency and the work, and we watch for the solicitation and email you the link when it posts.
