Terms of service

Draft terms. They need legal review before launch.

These terms are between you and [legal entity: not configured]. By opening a paid case you agree to them.

The service

  • A case is monitoring of the sources and conditions in the brief you approve, for the term you buy.
  • We check prices and pages you name about once every 24 hours, and other web searches between once a day and once a week, as the results suggest. It isn’t real-time, and we don’t guarantee we’ll notice an event at a particular moment.
  • We only check public pages and feeds. If a site blocks us, changes its layout, or goes offline, we tell you; we don’t work around access restrictions.
  • A finding means we saw evidence matching your conditions. Check the source yourself before you act on it.
  • We don’t act for you: no purchases, bookings, applications or messages.

What you agree not to do

  • Use what we find to harass, threaten or stalk anyone.
  • Rely on the service for emergencies: we check at most once a day.
  • Point us at sources you aren’t allowed to have checked automatically.
  • Try to reach private networks or other people’s data through the service.

Payments and refunds

Each case is paid once. There are no subscriptions or automatic renewals. Refunds follow the refund policy.

Limits

The service is provided as described in your brief. To the extent the law allows, our liability for a case is limited to what you paid for it.
