I’m counsel in the case. Do I need this? +
Not for your own docket, the court sends you that. It’s for everything else: the related cases, the agency rulings and the hearings you’d otherwise check by hand.
Do you read PACER or e-filing systems? +
No. We don’t log in anywhere. We see a ruling once it is public: the court’s opinions page, a free copy on CourtListener, the parties or the press. An order in a small case may never be posted. If no page names your case, setup tells you before you pay.
Is this fast enough to trade on? +
No. We check at most once a day, not at market speed, and the email is not investment advice. For an FDA watch, a match is the approval itself: a filing accepted, a decision date set or an advisory committee vote doesn’t count.
Which city agendas do you read? +
For places whose agendas are on Legistar, PrimeGov or a CivicPlus Agenda Center, we read each new agenda’s item titles and its PDF. Elsewhere we use a web search. We don’t read the documents attached to items, meeting video or minutes.
Can you watch zoning near my address? +
We can’t draw a circle around your house. Name the street, the project, the applicant or the parcel, and the board, such as the plan commission or the zoning board of appeals.
What if it already happened? +
We check before you pay. If it already happened, we show you the page instead of taking the case.
